Newborn Session With Jessica And Austin | Clarksburg, Maryland Family And Newborn Photography

I had the joy recently of capturing family and newborn portraits for Jessica and Austin. Now, if you’re a fan of Married at First Sight, you may recognize these faces!

I was so excited when I fist saw that Jessica had reached out to me through instagram to photograph their newborn baby. My wife and are big fans of the show and we were really rooting for this couple through the whole season. They are such a lovely and loving couple and we had a great time creating portraits for them. The hard part was keeping myself together when they walked in the door.

We didn’t let on that we knew them until they brought up how they were married. Ahhh, finally we can let it out. Austin even commented that we did a good job keeping it in! Just another example of you never know who’s going to be in front of your camera. Especially in this area, so close the capitol.

We started our session with a little chit chat to start to get to know each other. We talked about where we were from, how life is now with a new baby, and the general flow of how the session would go.

So, we start with solo portraits of the baby, then invite mom to come in, then we add in dad. That’s my typical flow, but as always, there are little moments of improv as every baby is totally different. Okay, enough talk, on to the photos.
